What happens if There is a Medical Emergency for Bloodwork?

A medical emergency can happen at any given moment. Different things can happen to a person that would put them in a category of a medical emergency. The most common would be a heart attack or stroke. All it takes is a split second for someone to cut themselves bad or have a bad fall. Breaking bones and something that may cause internal injuries can all be listed under medical emergencies. For life or death situations, a person should go to the emergency room by paramedics either in an ambulance or, for more severe cases, by chopper. Calling 911 would be the first step to see about having medical personnel on their way. If there is anything the person with the injured or ill person can do to comfort, support, or even CPR, proper measures should be taken. Some medical emergencies that are bad situations but not life or death can be dealt with at a walk-in clinic like ECMS.

Some elderly patients may have some medical alert device that can be pressed for quick medical services. It is critical to know and understand these devices and how to use them in an emergency. Usually, if the person having a medical emergency is the one in trouble, they can push the button and get help by themselves. Some may pass out or have worse conditions where they cannot, so everyone should familiarize themselves with these medical alert devices. For many, help can be around the corner, and the person can be brought to the nearest ECMS. There are so many things ECMS can do for many different situations. Most people forget about them and go straight to the Emergency room. For ECMS, they are there to relieve the pressure and congestion in the emergency rooms. With the medical alert devices, all of the information is previously stored, making it quick and easy.
